Web applications designed around your business process

When a workflow needs sign-in, structured data, permissions or specific steps, a web application may suit it better than a standard website. I start with the problem and the people using the tool, then define a focused first version before estimating development.

Personalised quote

We discuss your workflow, users and required features, then define the scope and quote for the application.

Who this is for

A fit for portals, dashboards, internal tools, work forms and flows used by signed-in users. It may be unnecessary if a standard form or an existing product can solve the problem simply.

The final price is agreed in the quote around your required pages, features and integrations. Domains, hosting, provider fees, maintenance and invoicing terms are clarified separately.

What I can build into the project

  • Definition of roles, actions and information each user needs
  • Screen and main workflow modelling before implementation
  • Authentication and permissions within the agreed product scope
  • An interface adapted to devices and real usage frequency
  • Integration with documented APIs after access and limits are reviewed
  • Handover notes and explanation of agreed administration options

A clear quote before work starts

A personalised estimate follows a discussion of your goals and requirements. Before work starts, we agree on what to build and how to work together.

Optional. Tell me what you need and I will prepare a personalised quote.

What we build
We agree on the pages and features your website will have.
Project price
I prepare a quote based on what you need, with the price and any additional costs explained.
Steps to launch
We agree on the project stages and what we need to prepare for each one.
Responsibilities and recurring costs
Who supplies materials and manages services; hosting, domains, licences and support are clarified separately.

How I approach the work

  1. Describe the current process, edge cases and people who use it.

  2. Separate first-version essentials from ideas that can wait.

  3. I build the main workflow and review it against real usage examples.

  4. Check permissions and common scenarios, then define launch and support.

Platform and implementation choices

If an existing SaaS product covers the process, configuring it may be simpler than building from scratch. Custom development makes sense when workflows or integration are specific, but it creates responsibility for code, hosting, security and updates. I discuss those operating costs before choosing.

What to prepare

Bring an example of the current process, forms or files in use, user types and current pain points. If the app needs to connect to a system, API documentation and a test environment help with the estimate.

What we clarify in the quote

The quote defines the first version: rules, roles, data, integrations and error cases. Security and legal requirements for sensitive data are defined before implementation. I recommend infrastructure accounts in your business's name; we clarify access, recurring costs and administration.

After handover

At handover we clarify account and data administration. We can agree on updates, backups and monitoring around the infrastructure and availability needs. New features and workflow changes are scoped and estimated separately.

Flappy Bird

This is an independent, unofficial project inspired by Flappy Bird, not a version commissioned by the game’s creators. Its start screen puts the game first, with a short path from Play to a first run.

Wardline

Wardline combines positioning, hand-drawn defence, and class abilities. Each encounter asks players to read the direction of incoming attacks and protect the space around the Core.
